The only way for the Global Muslim Community to regain its position as the leader of humankind is through coming back to Allah’s Book i.e. its people build their direct relationship with it afresh. Qur’anic scholars should educate their people and the scholars from various groups and network among themselves for future progress in Qur’anic understanding. Our emphasis lies on understanding the Qur’an, in changing human situations and in the context of social issues that our world encounters today. We believe, through progress in technology, science, literature, art and philosophy (etc.), God is preparing humankind for understanding of His Glorious Book whose “treasures will never be exhausted” (hadith). Understanding of the Qur’an is a continuing process – we learn from earlier generations and keep moving forward! Each believer is a student of the Qur’an and our most important need is good teachers.

We hope this Conference will pave the way for future progress of the Qur’anic Movement.
